norelem Slides In with New Modular Precision Positioning Range

An updated range of high-load bearing precision slides and dovetail slides from norelem are now available to design engineers and manufacturers, enabling even more accurate positioning and movement in machining and inspection operations.

The new components to the range include precision slides with roller bearings and dovetail slides with micrometric adjustment screws, and are designed with versatility in mind. Able to be used horizontally and vertically, the slides are ideal for the construction of machines, mechanical devices and metrological devices. They can also be applied in a variety of industries such as optical, food and drink, automotive, pharmaceutical and industrial maintenance.

Key to the new range is an integrated modular grid of fixing holes, so that no reworking of the guides is needed. This allows precise and fast pairing, and there are endless mounting possibilities for users.

The range of slides are available in a variety of materials and forms. This includes grey cast iron for larger load capacities, through to black anodised aluminium with micrometric spindles when reduced weight and greater precision is required. The guides also come with rubber end stops to protect the slides’ screws when used as a positioning tool.

Very little maintenance is required with the slides too. This allows the slides to travel with zero interference. Depending on the environment that the slides are used in, the first lubrication can last several years.
